Topic Week 7-9

From Week 7-9 we have been doing a task we had to complete for our topic I enjoyed doing this task to be quite honest and this is my hope you enjoy.

Google Docs Ninja Challenge.

From Week 5 To Week 6, we have been doing a google docs ninja challenge. I have actually completed this challenge and I want to share it with you.

Room Three Camp In Whangaruru!!

From the 30th of October to the 2nd of November we went to ‘’the farm’’ a place in whangaruru. We went kayaking,m.b.r,(motorbike riding), waterslide, rafting etc. we had camp leaders from all around the world Knud my favorite camp leader was from Germany, Nora she use to be a German sniper etc. my favorite activity was overall the waterslide I guarantee you it was so much fun!! We also did multiple night games which includes wolf pack, werewolf and campfire night. Werewolf, in my opinion, was the best night game. our moderator which was Annabelle (camp leader) gave out different cards for each individual in the room and whatever character you got was obviously the character you are throughout the game. there's the oracle, werewolves, hunter, little girl, citizens, witch, and Cupid. Each character has their own unique ability which is pretty cool especially the hunter his ability is when the werewolves kill him he can bring somebody with them (they die too) and it can be anyone its really useful if there's only a couple of people left. Group two (my group) we did M.B.r as our last activity on Wednesday (rotation four) and multiple people fell off and at our time trial on Friday multiple people fell off that day I mean a lot.

Overall out of the four Conor Mcgregor is certainly my favorite. He might smack talk a lot I mean a lot but I still like him by his style, Moves, and Fashion.

Is Plastic Really That Bad?

For the past two weeks, Rm-3 has been doing speeches and we had to choose a topic either in the non-competitive section or competitive. My speech is non-competitive and I hope you enjoy it.



Is plastic really that bad?

Hello, there my name's Travis and I am explaining to you why plastic is extremely effective towards our planet. Why we need to stop the plastic developers from making plastic.

First-Pollution. Pollution is one of the problems related to our marine life problems it is affecting all of our sea animals E.g Turtle, Dolphins, Sharks etc. The most common plastic usually are plastic bags, plastics spoons Etc. But they take at least 10-1000 years to decompose so the longer there in the water the higher chance a dolphin is gonna come along and eat it.
Quick Fact: Each year 1.2 trillion gallons of untreated sewage, stormwater, and industrial waste are dumped into US water. While children make up 10% of the world's population, over 40% of the global burden of disease falls on them. More than 3 million children under age five die annually from environmental factors.

Second-behaviour. Lazy adults are playing video games and eating pizza till they decapitate they're not using the social life they can have but there eating junk food and playing fortnite. If they took actions and did something they wouldn't be using as much garbage as how much they use right now.

Lastly-Future prospects. The pollution in our water will soon enough cause global warming and add more effect to our planet. Apparently, in 2050, our ocean will be flooded like literally flooded of different types of garbage that's what our sea will look like if we don't take actions and try to keep our world a better place.
Quick Fact: My vision for the oceans in 2050 is one of abundance, diversity, purity. While most predictions point to a darker future for the oceans, I do believe that it is possible to have more fish, sea turtles, dolphins, whales and sharks in our lifetimes. But we have to start acting now. Scientists report that the amount of fish caught began declining for the first time in recorded history just a few decades ago. That’s obviously bad news, but it is also recent news. If we take action quickly we can have a huge effect on helping the oceans rebound.

Plastic is causing major damage to our planet as you can see and it's pretty bad. We need to demand and stop buying plastic and recycle just like a town in China whos also sensitive to marine animals dying. If you agree with my argument please stop using plastic.

For the past week room, 3 has been making infographics about the current sea pollution going on right now. I learned that weak plastic can create extremely big problems and is affecting our marine life and we need to demand that plastic should stop being created.
